Cinelli Piume e Piumini is one of the few companies in Italy to process feathers and down using a complete cycle including selection, washing and sterilisation; it also entirely realises its feather and down products on site. Here, quality is pursued with a method that has been fine-tuned by the company based on the valorisation of its personnel’s experience and by monitoring all processing phases so as to have detailed and constant control of every piece manufactured. This production selection used by Cinelli for over 50 years has provided the company with a great asset others don’t have: “knowledge” of feathers – that is the profound knowledge of the raw material and how to treat and process it to enhance its thermogenic capacity and to ensure a long, almost “eternal” life.
